1. NOTICE OF TRADEMARK STATUS

Famenity hereby issues this public advisory to consumers, distributors, and retailers regarding the unauthorized use of the BF-7® and Brain Factor-7® trademarks.

Following a formal legal proceeding in the United States, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) officially CANCELLED the trademark registration formerly held by Sunbio Corporation (Serial No. 86740931) on March 21, 2022.

• Current Status: Famenity is the sole authorized owner of the BF-7® trademark in the United States (Ser. No. 8797332 (Reg. No. 7583250) and Ser. No. 97181709 (Reg. No. 7617442)).
• Actionable Warning: Unauthorized use of the "BF-7" mark—specifically in association with the products not originating from Famenity (e.g., "Cera-Q") would be infringing and misrepresents the origin of the ingredient.

2. CLINICAL VALIDATION & RESEARCH AUTHENTICITY

The 25-year body of clinical evidence conducted on Famenity's proprietary BF-7® silk fibroin belongs to Famenity Co. Ltd.

Promotion of generic silk fibroin peptide products that are not genuine BF-7® is misleadingly deceptive.

For example, in the United States, US FDA NDIN #1041 for BF-7® is exclusive to Famenity. In South Korea any dietary supplement marketed to have health benefits must be registered with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety – for any ingredients from Korea, always confirm the MFDS certification(2009-46).
